Youth for Christ – Ivybridge
Ivybridge Youth for Christ is one of 70 local centres which operate as a chartered ministry of British Youth For Christ. It was started in September 2006 by Elis Norton who is still the Director. Ivybridge YFC shares the same values as British Youth For Christ. Ivybridge Youth For Christ seeks to take the good news relevantly to every young person in the region mainly through work in both secondary and primary schools. It runs lunchtime and after school clubs, holds assemblies and offers support to schools where appropriate. Ivybridge Youth for Christ also run Youth Alpha courses, trips to national events such as Fort Rocky and local events such as Plymouth’s youth worship event – The Net.
